We are looking for Transcribers to join our growing happy to work from home team!
The transcription work is not like your normal transcription where you sit and type an hour long audio file – it is short audio’s and it is done live online. It entails transcribing audio to text which basically means that you will listen to a an audio file which you will type into words. The work is all done live online so you will need a computer and an ADSL connection to be able to do the work.You will do this work as a contractor and NOT as an employee of this company so you will be responsible for any costs you incur on your own behalf.
Shift times: The morning shift runs from 10:00 to 16:00, afternoon shift 16:00 to 22:00, evening shift 22:00 – 4:00 am, and early morning shift from 4:00 am to 10:00 am.
The shifts I have available at this time is 1 afternoon shift.
I also need 1 or 2 operators that can work on an ad hoc basis to fill in on shifts where I have people off.
You will have to let me know which shifts you plan to work on a weekly basis. What is meant by this is that you will work you regular shifts on a weekly basis, but if for some reason you have to take a day off or some time off, I need to know in advance so that I can have someone cover those gaps. The reason for this is that I have to set up a roster every week to make sure that I have enough people on-line at any given time.
The rate is R14.00 per hour or .23c per minute.You will only be paid for time spent subscribing so you will not be paid for time you take off in-between working for e.g. lunch, making coffee, fetching kids from school etc. The more hours you are able to do obviously the more you will be able to earn. You will be able to earn anything between R14 and R3000 + depending of course on how many hours you put in. Some of my current agents regularly take home over R3000 per month.
You will be paid monthly and the money will be paid directly into your bank account. Payment is calculated from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month.
You will have to do some evaluation training so we can access your abilities which means that you will not automatically qualify for the job. The training is done on-line.
Just for your info: You don’t have to travel to do this job as everything is done on-line – the training as well as the actual job if you pass the test, which means that you will be able to do this work from home. There is no downloading of files involved as you will be able to access everything via a control panel on-line. Also, there is no fee involved in working for us – we pay you to work for us and not the other round.
